The original bandstand on this site was built around the time forest park opened in 1876. Constructed of wood, it was renovated for the 1904 Worlds Fair and was one of the Fair's most photographed structures. It continues to be one of the most photographed structures in the park.
This is my version. At least one of them. The clouds, the shadows, the background, and creating it in black and white just seemed to speak to me.
